Rapper Slim 400 shot and killed in Inglewood: report

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (KNX) — West Coast rapper Slim 400 was shot and killed Wednesday night in Inglewood, according to a report. He was 33.

The Compton native, whose real name is Vincent Cohran, was gunned down around 7:50 p.m. in the area of Manchester Boulevard and 7th Avenue.

Inglewood police told reporters officers on patrol heard the gunshots and responded to find a man on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds.

The man was treated by paramedics at the scene and then rushed to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he died, the L.A. County Fire Department told CBSLA.

Although authorities did not release the name of the shooting victim, TMZ reported it was Slim 400.

Fans flooded the comment section of Slim’s latest Instagram post with messages of disbelief.

No arrests have been made and no suspect information has been released.

This is not the first time Slim 400 has been shot. During an interview with Vlad TV, Slim detailed a 2019 shooting that landed him in the hospital, where he was forced to undergo surgery.
