Last 'no cruising' sign removed in Sacramento!

The last sign removed was located along Broadway near Front Street.

The anti-cruising ordinance sparked a debate on whether it should exist. Sacramento leaders AND Mayor Darrell Steinberg said it is an unfair stereotype to associate lowriders with gangs or violence.

There has been misconception for many years that lowriders are the same people who would participate in sideshows.

A lot more cities in California are repealing this ordinance.

City councilmembers in May voted to repeal that ordinance.
