Sacramento's mask mandate is back as the Covid Delta variant pushes infection numbers up

As Sacramento county cases of Covid infections continue to climb as the delta variant takes hold over the country, Sacramento County is bringing back the mask mandate which requires wearing masks in doors, regardless of vaccination status. This week cases have reached as high as 21.6 cases per 100,000, where a month ago we were only at 5.2 cases per 100,000.

Currently only the mask mandates are returning, which is leaving local businesses such as nightclubs having to pivot their policies, with clubs such as Social and London requiring masks for entry, effective immediately.
