When Covid hit, a whopping 1.6 billion students were transitioned to remote learning and the isolation from peers and teachers created widespread delayed emotional development. With learning loss attributed to the pandemic, a new app is helping families with the struggles that arise with a new school year.

The Learn with Sesame app was designed with kid-friendly navigation that fosters independent play to encourage critical thinking, promote independence, and develop problem-solving skills, with the help of some beloved familiar faces. Dr. Jody Levos, Chief Learning Officer at BEGiN, in partnership with Sesame Workshop, which is the non-profit behind Sesame Street, discusses how this app is helping our children's social-emotional learning.
