Tyler Rich was definitely into fireworks when he was a kid (and probably still is, as an adult).
“Man, fireworks to me have always – just like any little kid, I was just obsessed with ‘em," he shares in a statement from his label. "We never got into anything crazy, other than illegal fireworks, as much as we could get ‘em that weren’t allowed in California – firecrackers and stuff.
"But I was like, ‘Well how come these people in these other states get to play with firecrackers and we don’t? We should be allowed to,'" he continues. "So we did as much as we could and we never got caught, which was awesome.
"Fourth of July is country music to me. It’s America, it’s fireworks, it’s loud, it’s exciting, it’s drinking, it’s barbecuing. Fourth of July is country and it’s one of my favorite holidays.”
