At an auction, no can hear you scream.

Recreating your favorite frightening scene from the “Alien” franchise is about to get a little too real.

One lucky fan of the 1979 original horror movie starring Sigourney Weaver will soon be able to own a part of the film’s terrifying extraterrestrial marauder.

Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills is selling off a slew of memorabilia from the franchise including an original full-size translucent prototype Xenomorph costume designed by Academy Award-winning artist and sculptor, H.R. Giger, reported the New York Post.

The frightful piece of Hollywood magic is being sold off as part of Julien’s "HOLLYWOOD SCI-FI, ACTION, FANTASY AND MORE” auction.

“Long believed to have been lost and destroyed, this original translucent prototype (known as "Big Chap") for the terrifying creature character was created for consideration by the film’s celebrated director Ridley Scott during the early stages of the film’s pre-production,” the auction house said in a press release.

“Comprehensive lighting and camera tests were conducted by the pre-production team to demonstrate the potential; however, the non-translucent costume was the final result and the character development with Giger would go on to spawn one of Hollywood’s most legendary horror icons ever to come on screen.“

While the petrifying costume didn’t wind up in the film because director Ridley Scott ultimately went with a more opaque version, its omission has actually served to make the memorabilia even more desired.

“This extraordinary costume is now considered the rarest and most elusive artifact from the blockbuster film franchise and has a conservative estimate of $40,000 - $60,000,” the auction house added.

Other items from the “Alien” franchise up for auction include a full costume worn by Weaver as a clone of her iconic character Ripley in “Alien Resurrection,” and a costume worn by Winona Ryder in the 1997 movie.

In total, more than 800 lots from movies such as “Batman,” “Die Hard,” “Edward Scissorhands,” “Independence Day,” “Scarface,” and more will be sold to the public at the auction for the first time.

The two-day auction, entitled “Hollywood Legends & Luminaries" and "Hollywood Sci-FI, Action, Fantasy and More," starts Wednesday, April 28th at 10am PT.
