They've helped nearly 1,000 families in four previous drive-thru events.
"When folks come out to these pantries, they are so grateful," said spokesperson Linda Torelli. "We had people in tears, because they were able to get help for their pet."
Torelli said their system is both safe and efficient.
"Folks just drive up in their vehicle," she explained. "They stay in their car, we'll ask them from a 6-foot distance about their pets, they let us know how many dogs and cats they have, pop their trunk and then we load the pet food in, then they drive away."
The next two pet food pantries are at two locations: Frawley Stadium in Wilmington, Delaware on Thursday, May 14, and the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pennsylvania on Friday, May 15.
Both events run from 10:30 a.m. until noon.
