Police question 3 in Route 1 hit-and-run; still seek first vehicle to hit woman

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Middletown Township police are investigating a tow truck, a minivan and a car in connection to the hit-and-run on Route 1 that left a woman dead earlier this week.

Police say all the drivers are cooperating with investigators.

Authorities say the victim was on the southbound side of the highway near Neshaminy High School early Monday morning when she was hit by several vehicles.

Police are still trying to identify and track down the first vehicle that hit the woman. They believe it was a large truck or tractor-trailer.

Police have spoken to other witnesses and are asking for others who may have information to come forward
