Ingram says what's going on outside is unlike anything we've seen this year, and folks need to make sure they are bundled up, because the cold can be dangerous.
"This is going to be the coldest it has been since January of last year. In addition to that, a wind chill advisory means it's actually going to feel sub-zero," she explained.
She says if you have to go outside, be careful - whether you're walking on the sidewalks, or driving on the roads - because the leftover moisture from the rain is going to make things difficult.
"That is going to begin to ice over, and result in possibly some black ice lasting through Monday morning," she said.
As the region battles with the cold and ice, Ingram reminds us it could have been a lot worse.
"If it had been any colder, we would have dealt with a lot of snow this weekend because there was so much moisture related to this storm," she said.
She also says to pay attention if you're close to trees and power lines as they turn dangerous if they ice up.
