Phil Casey has been described as “the Swiss-Army Knife” of KYW Newsradio. That’s because he’s done a myriad of things since he joined the station in March of 2018.

These days, Casey mostly serves as the Evening Editor, manning the desk through invasions, civil unrest, and global pandemics. Though he’s also been known to anchor on occasion.

Phil Casey attended Millersville University from 2010 through 2015, graduating with degrees in Political Science and History with a minor in International Studies. It was at Millersville where Casey developed an appreciation for radio, serving as Program Director of the university’s radio station, WIXQ.

He’d go on to serve as a Producer for a year at WIP, before joining KYW’s award-winning team.
