PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police have arrested a Philadelphia man accused of having child sexual abuse material, as well as a “guide” on how to have sexual “relationships” with children.
Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday said his office served a search warrant last week at 31-year-old Abdiel Mendoza’s home on Griscom Street in Frankford, where they seized a computer and cellphone.
Through the search, Sunday said his agents discovered several files of child sexual abuse material that Mendoza shared online.
Officials also found a 170-page PDF file titled “How to Practice Child Love,” which they said was described as a “how-to guide on engaging in sexual abuse with a child.”
Mendoza is charged with nearly two dozen counts of possessing child sexual abuse material.
Mendoza is out on $50,000 bail, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for next month.
