PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are searching for the driver who hit and killed a woman in North Philadelphia, then sped off.
It happened Thursday around 3:30 a.m. at Broad and Somerset streets, NBC10 reported.
The 35-year-old woman was crossing the street when she was hit. Witnesses told investigators the driver stopped briefly after crashing into her but then sped away.
She died at the scene.
Police do not have a great description of the car, only that it is a white sedan, maybe a Toyota.
