PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphians are celebrating Halloween again, but not just the kids. A number of adults spoke to KYW Newsradio about how they're celebrating.
Hannah Sattazahn of Philadelphia shared her strategy for dressing up for Halloween.

"There has to be an inside joke to whatever you're wearing, as an adult at least. I know I'm dressing up as Captain Jack Sparrow this year," she said.
"The more out-of-the-box the better," said Samantha Keleher, "so as long as you’re not being something super-basic like like a cat or a devil, I'm gonna give you props for your costume."
Carl Reitenbach was headed to a party dressed as famed painter Bob Ross, while Keleher went the spooky route, in a way.
"I'm definitely scary," she said, "because I'm the PPA!"
Sattazah said just as you're never too old to dress up, "You're never too old to trick-or-treat."
However, she added, there are certain candies that, universally, no one wants.
"I remember my family used to put it in like one big jar and you could kind of like dig through it if you wanted to, but by November, December, the candy that’s still there, we were kind of like, 'Nah, we don't need this anymore.'"
Reitenbach had his own least favorites. "Almond Joy," he said. "I'm not a Twizzlers guy." He did mention his favorites, though, were Reese's peanut butter cups.
After trick-or-treating, of course, comes the organizing and bartering.
"I remember dumping them all on the ground with my brother," recalled Sattazahn, "and we would sort out and trade certain candies and stuff. Luckily, he liked the ones that I didn't like and I liked the ones that he didn't like' so it kind of all just worked out that way."
Some people, if they’re not trick-or-treating or taking their kids trick-or-treating, might opt for a party instead. Dan Tamulonis of Fairmount was carrying beer with him. "I was assigned the first shift for the carrying. We’re going to our friends' place," he said.
"That's the best candy," said friend T.J. Keleher. "If you give me beer, I'm happy with that."
