KYW Medical Report: Should kids go trick or treating this Halloween?

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — When it comes to COVID-19, many Americans have consistently turned to Dr. Anthony Fauci for advice. This year, he says Halloween is a go.

Like many medical experts, he is well aware of the importance of activities like this for children, but there are some suggestions that can help. The biggest is to do it outdoors and to limit the size of crowds.

Another great suggestion is lining up the candy in prewrapped bags for the little ghosts and goblins to collect.

And, as with all preventive measures, kids over the age of 12 should be vaccinated, as well as any adult accompanying them.
