PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The ATF is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man they said set fire to a vehicle outside a Pennsylvania State Police barracks nearly two years ago.
Officials said it was on April 29, 2024, that Lamont Sparrow cut a hole in the fence around the Troop K Belmont Barracks in Wynnefield Heights and lit a pickup truck on fire.
The fire was reported around 3:30 a.m., and no one was injured.
An arrest warrant for Sparrow was first signed in August 2025 by the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, but with him still on the run, a $5,000 reward is being offered.
Police said other suspects believed to be involved with the incident were apprehended and are awaiting trial.
Sparrow is 5-foot-9, with short black hair, a small mustache, and facial hair on his chin.
Officials think he could be hiding in the area of Loganville, Georgia — about an hour outside Atlanta.
