PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man was critically shot at a North Philadelphia bar after the Super Bowl, police said.
It happened at the Three Elements bar, at the corner of Second and Cumberland streets.
When police responded around 2 a.m. Monday, they learned that the gunshot victim had already been driven to the hospital. The 29-year-old man was shot multiple times. He was listed in critical condition.
According to preliminary information, the man was involved in an argument with two others. The situation escalated and the two men took out their guns. Police said one of them fired and hit the victim at least twice.
The two gunmen got away. No one was arrested.
The shooting happened more than three hours after the Super Bowl ended. Police didn’t say how many employees and customers were inside when the shooting took place.
