PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Authorities are searching for a man who police say preyed upon a 12-year-old girl, sexually assaulted her, and tried to lure her into his car in Manayunk last month.
It happened just before 11:30 a.m. on March 20 on East Salaignac Street, near Righter Street.
The man is described as about 35 to 40 years old, and he was wearing a distinctive gray- and black-checkered hooded sweatshirt.
After attacking her, investigators said he tried to get her into his car, which was parked on the block. He was driving a white SUV, possibly a 2018 Kia Sorento.
