PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Spinal cord injuries can have a devastating impact. Every case is unique, but damage to the spinal cord often leads to loss of function and paralysis.

Over the last 20 years, numerous studies have led to a wide variety of tools designed to help those with spinal cord injuries regain as much function as possible.
