NORTH PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Authorities are still looking for the pair of shooters who injured 7 people, including a 16-year-old girl critically, during a 'social media party' back in the early morning hours of Oct. 19.
Police hope new surveillance video released on Wednesday, will lead them to the two shooters.
In the video, a charcoal gray Nissan Altima with no license plate and tinted windows pulls up the corner of 11th and Cumberland Streets around 3:30 in the morning on Oct. 19.
Two males are then seen getting out of the driver's and passenger sides of the vehicle and shoot at least 50 times down the street, hitting 7 people, including a 16-year-old girl in the chest. Six other victims — ranging from 20 to 30 years old, both males and females — were also hit mostly in the limbs and back.
The suspects were dressed in all black, with one also wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
Authorities said the social media party, which was organized on Instagram, was just letting out and there was an argument over a speaker. Investigators believe that could be a motive.
Anyone with information about the shooters is asked to call in a tip to the police tip line at 215-686-TIPS.
