PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — U.S. Marshals and Philadelphia police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 22-year-old wanted in connection with the mass shooting at 7 Elements nightclub that injured eight earlier this month.
Police say an argument escalated into a knife fight on the balcony just before 4 a.m. on July 5. As security tried to break up the fight, shots were fired. Eight people were shot. All were taken to nearby hospitals in stable condition.
Last week, 43-year-old security guard Michael Welton was charged in connection with the shooting. He admitted to firing his gun that morning.
Officials have now charged Nino DaSilvio, 22, with aggravated assault and weapons possession.
Police say DaSilvio is around 5-foot-11. Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to contact U.S. Marshals at 1-866-865-8477.
