PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Camden County woman is under federal indictment for allegedly orchestrating a murder-for-hire plot targeting her ex-boyfriend, a Philadelphia police officer, and his daughter.

Federal prosecutors have accused 28-year-old Jaclyn D. Diiorio of Runnemede of scheming to have her ex-boyfriend and his teenage daughter killed for money in the spring of last year.

According to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office last year, a confidential informant posing as a hitman spoke on the phone with Diiorio and told her he would kill the then-53-year-old officer and his 19 year-old daughter for $12,000.

Investigators said Diiorio met the informant for payment in Gloucester Township in April of 2025. She was arrested after giving the man $500 as a down payment.

If convicted, Diiorio faces a maximum possible sentence of 20 years in prison. A detention hearing is scheduled for Sept. 14.
