PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are investigating a double homicide in the Mayfair section of the city.
Around 5 Friday morning, police say two men, who appeared to be between the ages of 20 and 30, were shot at the stairwell of an apartment building on Passmore Street, just off of Frankford Avenue.

Medics arrived and the victims were pronounced dead.
Neighbors say they heard five to 10 gunshots.
Dave Waldron, who lives close by, said the gun violence is so out of hand that he's not surprised by it anymore.
"It happens too often, too much. And … it's not gonna stop, you know what I mean? And what's gonna stop it?" he asked.
Police have yet to release the identity of the victims or a motive for the shooting. There have been no arrests.
