PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A second suspect is now in police custody in the deadly shooting outside Chickie’s and Pete’s in South Philadelphia last fall.
Nasir Brooks surrendered on Tuesday to face charges. He had an active warrant out for his arrest.
In October, 23-year-old Hason Mason was killed in the shooting at Broad Street and Packer Avenue. Another 23-year-old man was wounded.
Officials said a car was found at the scene with more than a dozen bullet holes in the rear windshield on the driver’s side.
The first suspect, 22-year-old Abou Keita, was arrested in November.
