PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are investigating two separate shootings in West Philadelphia that left three people, including a 14-year-old boy, dead Saturday night.

Police say the first shooting was around 8:26 p.m., near 59th Street and Haddington Lane. The boy was shot twice and taken to a local hospital where he later died.

The second shooting happened just minutes later, around 8:32 p.m., less than two miles away, near 60th and Sansom streets. Police say two men – one, in his thirties, the other, in his twenties – were shot multiple times throughout their upper bodies.

Both victims were transported to nearby hospitals where they later were pronounced dead.

Authorities say there was also a fatal shooting in North Philadelphia, near N. Broad Street and Erie Avenue, not far from Max's Cheesesteaks.

They say a 19-year-old was shot multiple times inside a vestibule around 9:15 p.m. He was taken to Temple Hospital where police say he died about 30 minutes later.

The incidents come as the city continues to grapple with its ongoing gun violence crisis, which has claimed dozens of lives already this year.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and no weapons recovered in connection to any of the shootings.
