PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The former Philadelphia detective accused of sexually assaulting the mother of a homicide victim has been held on aggravated indecent assault and related charges.
At his preliminary hearing Wednesday morning, an accuser testified that Donald Suchinsky put his hands down her pants in a car before an interview at police headquarters.
She said Suchinsky was the assigned detective to her son’s case.
During her testimony, Suchinsky’s attorney tried to poke holes in the woman’s story, claiming her accounts were fuzzy due to the trauma of losing her son.
In the end, the judge upheld the charges. Suchinsky is due back in court next month.
