PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Three Philadelphia teenagers are being held responsible for the burglary of a Bucks County gun shop in May.

The 16-year-olds were adjudicated delinquent — similar to being found guilty in the juvenile justice system — for a smash-and-grab burglary at LugarMan in Langhorne.

On May 30, Middletown Township police were called to the gun shop. They saw a car fleeing and tried to stop it. Officers in neighboring Falls Township set up a spike strip and punctured the car’s tires.

The driver kept going over the Calhoun Street Bridge into New Jersey, but with shredded tires, the car became inoperable. The teens tried to run but were taken into custody.
