UPPER DARBY, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — Upper Darby police are looking for a man accused of shooting his ex-girlfriend's brother.
Around 2 a.m. Sunday, inside a residence near Walnut Street and Kent Road, investigators say 32-year-old Yeicop Menjivar (or Yieco Menjivar Pacheco) broke into a home shared by his ex-girlfriend, her sister and their brother, Keneri Montoya. Officials say he was demanding to speak with his ex.
According to the affidavit, Menjivar entered a bedroom where his ex-girlfriend, her sister and her sister’s children were sleeping. While trying to get him to leave, police say Montoya stepped in to defend his sister, but then things turned physical.
Police say Menjivar pulled out a gun and shot Montoya in the forehead.
Menjivar was last seen leaving the area in a blue-and-black Honda Civic with the license plate LWH-4182.

Police were told Menjivar and his former girlfriend broke up after a domestic altercation back in December and this was the first time he had returned to the house.
Menjivar is wanted on several offenses, including murder, criminal homicide and burglary. Police say he is armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him should call 911 immediately.
Anyone with information on Menjivar's whereabouts or the incident is asked to contact Upper Darby police at 610-734-7693.
CLARIFICATION: Doctors say Montoya survived the gunshot, but he will not recover from his injury. They say he is being kept alive on life support so that his organs can be donated.
