PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Authorities are looking for a man in connection with a deadly fire that broke out at a makeshift horse stable in Southwest Philadelphia last week.
Police released new surveillance footage that shows a man appearing to ignite the blaze at the stable, located on a vacant, city-owned lot along Lindbergh Boulevard.
Two horses died in the Feb. 20 fire and several others were hurt. Some of those horses were taken into the care of the PSPCA.
Fire officials said the makeshift stable was made out of plywood. PSPCA investigators said last week that it was unclear who the horses belonged to.

"To find out it was arson and to find out it was set intentionally is just horrific and we know the task force is taking this really seriously so we have a very generous anonymous board member who wanted to do whatever she could do to help bring that person forward," said Sarah Barnett, executive director at ACCT Philly.
Anonymous tips can be submitted to the Philadelphia Police Department by calling or texting 215-686-8477. Tips can also be submitted anonymously online.
Additionally, anyone with information about the horses or their owners is urged to call the PSPCA Animal Cruelty Hotline at 866-601-7722 or email cruelty@pspca.org. The PSPCA is also accepting donations to care for the horses on its website, pspca.org/stablefire.
