PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police need the public’s help in identifying suspects connected to a deadly shooting in Mayfair late last month.
Investigators released surveillance video on Friday showing the suspects involved in the fatal shooting. It happened on June 24 on the 4000 block of Gilham Street.
Officials said approximately five suspects arrived at the location in a stolen brown 2017 Infiniti Q50.
Police said four armed men got out of the vehicle to ambush the victim, while the driver remained inside. Detectives said one of the four appeared frightened and did not take part in the shooting.
The 24-year-old victim was found on the ground and rushed to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
The city is offering a $20,000 reward for details leading to an arrest and conviction.
