Father and son duo, Dennis and Jared Vedra, own a local automotive detail supply business called Car Glo in Kearny Mesa. Like all San Diegans, they heard that hospitals were in need of disposable protective gear for their staff. Jared and Dennis knew they had to do something to help.
So, they took to Instagram and asked their 1700 followers to make donations. The Vedras ended up receiving $3,000 from their followers, which they then put towards buying 75,000 pairs of gloves from their suppliers!!! (The total cost came out to be a little over $4,000, but Dennis and Jared made up the difference).
On Saturday morning, they loaded up their trucks and donated 75,000 pairs of gloves to a local hospital. Way to go Car Glo! I'm sure they the staff at the hospital were very grateful!
