There may be a silver lining in the disturbing spread of the coronavirus: Gas prices will drop. China is the world's second largest oil consumer, and the travel restrictions and lower demand from fears over infection could reduce the price of oil — which would also lower gas prices worldwide. If the coronavirus continues to spread we could see gas prices drop as much as thirty cents a gallon.
