Washing your hands with soap & water at the sink is actually the best and first choice to stay germ-free. Better than hand sanitizer. And remember that the second after you wash your hands, if you touch something like a counter, stair banister or elevator button, your hands are contaminated again, and you have to clean them again, before touching your face.
