Living Better in San Diego - Wreaths Across America is in need of volunteers this holiday season…and donations

They'll need donations of an additional 17,000 wreaths to ensure every veteran laid to rest at Miramar National Cemetery has a wreath this year.

This holiday season, as we gather with family and friends, it’s also a time to pause and remember those who gave so much to protect the freedoms we enjoy. At Miramar National Cemetery, thousands of veterans rest in honor — and thanks to a beautiful tradition called Wreaths Across America, every December volunteers come together to lay wreaths on each headstone as a gesture of gratitude and remembrance.

But this year, Miramar still needs nearly 17,000 wreaths to make that goal a reality. Robyn Chambers, a volunteer with Wreaths Across America, shares how we can all play a part in honoring our heroes and making sure that not a single veteran is forgotten this holiday season.
