Hanover County, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The annual Hanover Tomato Festival is set to take place this Friday and Saturday, rain or shine.
This year, the free festival will feature performances from Ron Moody and the Centaurs and 80s tribute band The Deloreans. Food, beer, and wine sales will benefit the Hanover CREW Foundation, which supports first responder families. There will also be craft vendors, tomato-inspired dishes, tomato-eating contests, children’s activities, and more.
The Hanover Tomato Festival is happening Friday, July 12 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, July 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will take place at Pole Green Park, located at 8996 Pole Green Park Lane in Mechanicsville. Pets are welcome but leashes are required.
