Chesterfield, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - On the same day the Richmond-Henrico Health District opened a Community Vaccination Center at Richmond Raceway, the Chesterfield Health District announced a CVC would be opening in the old Big Lots location at Hull Street and Courthouse Road. The site is already a vaccination center for the district.
With the change to a CVC, new staff will be brought in, and Chesterfield Health District employees will be freed up to serve other vaccination needs. The transition will take place Saturday. The clinic will be open Monday through Saturday, 10am to 8pm, with the last appointment at 7:30pm.
The Commonwealth is setting up nine CVCs around Virginia.
