The options to become the next head coach of the Miami Dolphins appears to have been whittled down to three names.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Thursday that Miami will conduct second interviews next week with Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll and 49ers offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel.
According to Rapoport, 'most people think' Daboll is the favorite for the job because of his close relationship with Dolphins owner Stephen Ross and because of his previous experience coaching Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa when he served as the offensive coordinator at Alabama in the 2017-18 season.
Moore has interviewed with several teams regarding their head coaching vacancies (Dolphins, Jaguars, Vikings and Broncos), but this will be his first second interview with an organization this offseason.
McDaniel has been 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan's right-hand man for the last decade and is in his first season as the team's offensive coordinator.
