Gavin Sheets named National League Player of the Week

Gavin Sheets was rewarded for his incredible week of production on Monday afternoon, when he was named the National League's Player of the Week. During the week of 5/11, Sheets ranked first in the NL in batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, OPS, home runs and total bases, as the Padres went 4-2 against the Brewers and Mariners. Sheets will look to carry over his production into Monday's series against the Dodgers.
