AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer, and a summer-like day is in store for the Austin area.
Mostly sunny skies in the morning will become partly cloudy Monday afternoon, with highs reaching into the lower 90s with light southerly winds.
Partly cloudy skies will continue into Monday night, with lows falling back into mid 70s.
A mid-week cold front that was expected to significantly drop temperatures now appears that it will stall out over the Rockies. While that means temperatures won't drop as sharply as previously forecast, Central Texas will still likely see periods of heavy rain throughout the back half of the week.
