While nothing Michaels said was groundbreaking, the fact he was talking about it openly and said he feels the league would like an owner to sell is a very significant change in the Snyder saga.
The statement from Michaels. came after the Amazon broadcast showed Snyder sitting at the game next to team president Jason Wright as Michaels gave a brief summary of the report about the Commanders owner from ESPN.
According to the ESPN report, Snyder had recently told a close associate he has gathered enough secrets and dirt to "blow up" several other NFL owners and even NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

Conspiracy theorists will note this came on an Amazon broadcast and point to the founder of that company as why Michaels said that, but there's no evidence of Michaels being a stooge for his new bosses. And if that certain somebody who has several hundred billion dollars laying around wanted to buy the Commanders, why would they need the help of a TV announcer to impact the sale?
The more likely scenario: Michaels is speaking for somebody within the league. And that is much more significant.
