College football season starts in Charlotte as the Atlantic Coast Conference welcomes all 17 head coaches and more than 50 of the league’s top student-athletes to the 2026 ACC Football Kickoff, July 15-17 at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown.

Entering its 74th season of football, the ACC continues its tradition of excellence on the national stage. Over the past 13 seasons, the conference has placed a team in the College Football Playoff or BCS National Championship Game 10 times. The ACC has also placed 11 teams in postseason competition in each of the last three seasons, the longest such streak by any FBS conference.
