Clemson will look to play its way in the College Football playoffs despite three losses on the season, the latest coming to in-state rival South Carolina. Clemson will face SMU in the ACC Title Game Saturday night in Charlotte.

The Mustangs are 11-1 on the season and went 8-0 in ACC play. Both teams have faced the criticism that they have "beaten nobody". Clemson's 9 wins have come against opponents with a combined 43-63 record. SMU's 11 wins have come against teams with a combined 63-70 record.

SMU did beat Louisville and Duke in the regular season both of those teams won 8 or more this year. Clemson's lone ACC loss came at home to Louisville. Clemson's defense has allowed just over 21 points and just over 350 yards per game.

They'll look to slow down the high-octane Mustang offense which is averaging nearly 40 points per game and over 440 total yards of offense. Clemson is 8-1 all time in the ACC Championship Game. The ACC Title Game is set for an 8PM kickoff tomorrow night and will be nationally televised on ABC.
