A big weekend road win for Furman Basketball gives them the Regular Season Conference Title and the number one seed in the upcoming SoCon Tournament .
The Paladins scored 50 1st half points on their way to a 93-79 win at Samford on Saturday. Furman's Mike Bothwell a career high 35 points to lead three Paladin players in double figures.
Furman is now 24-7 overall, it's the 5th time in the past six seasons Coach Bob Richey has led the program to 20 or more wins. The Paladins are now 11-1 in their last 12 games, they'll look to stay hot as the enter the Ingles SoCon Tournament in Asheville this weekend.
