DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Ravens are in the playoffs, so they have to have a better chance at a Super Bowl run than the Cowboys, right? Michael Irvin says "not so fast."

Irvin said Thursday on 105.3 The Fan that the Cowboys, who are coming off a 6-10 season, are closer to making the Super Bowl than the Ravens, who are set to play in the Divisional Round of the playoffs this weekend.

Irvin went on to say that he feels so confident in his stance that he made a bet with former Ravens all-pro Ray Lewis on who would challenge for the Lombardi Trophy first.

As for why he believes the Cowboys are closer? Irvin gave multiple reasons. ... The first being that the Ravens will have to upset the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes in order to get to the end. The second being that the Cowboys will improve after having played almost the entire season without several key players, including Dak Prescott, Tyron Smith and La'el Collins.
