A member of the Carolina Panthers intervened during a heated argument between fans last week. Panther WR D.J. Moore went into the stands to play peacemaker at the Panthers Fan Fest event last Thursday night.
Moore reminded the two men that were arguing, that the Fan Fest is a family oriented event. The argument must have caused quite a scene for Moore to notice it from field level. Below you can see a tweet that contains video from the interaction.
Some would say that Moore going into the stands was ill-advised and they are probably right. However, the outcome was a positive one and does show why the Panthers view him as a leader on and off the field. Moore has had three straight seasons of over 1,200 combined yards from scrimmage. He was rewarded for that performance this offseason when he signed a 3 year extension worth more than 61 million.
