(670 The Score) The Cubs have signed Michigan outfielder Jordan Nwogu, their third-round pick in the amateur draft in June.
Nwogu was a first-team all-Big Ten selection in 2019, hitting .321 with a .435 on-base percentage and 58 runs. He had a career .975 OPS in three collegiate seasons. He hit .353 in a 15-game junior season that was cut short by the coronavirus pandemic.
The Cubs have now signed all five of their draft picks in the 2020 class.
