Washington picked up an extra third-round selection (74th overall) in the Trent Williams trade with San Francisco last April. Washington also received a fifth-round pick (156th overall) in that deal, which it used to select offensive lineman Keith Ismael out of San Diego St in the 2020 draft.

Washington traded its sixth-round pick in 2021 to the Raiders in Sept. 2020, receiving offensive tackle David Sharpe and Las Vegas' seventh-round pick (244 overall) in return. Sharpe was in on 17 percent of Washington's offensive plays in 2020, serving primarily as a backup while making two starts as an injury replacement. He re-signed with Washington on a one-year deal this March.

Washington made two quality selections in the seventh round in 2020, picking up safety Kam Curl out of Arkansas (216th overall) and defensive lineman James Smith-Williams out of N.C. State (229th overall). Both earned significant playing time, especially Curl, who played in all 16 games (accounting for 73 percent of Washington's defensive snaps), starting 11 of them after Landon Collins went down with a torn Achilles in Week 7. Smith-Williams played in 14 games (nine percent of defensive snaps).

Washington has no compensatory picks.
