It's the busy holiday season which means you want easy recipes that can be done while you're doing five other things...and this recipe is just that! It's from my Grandma's friend, Carol. Super easy! In fact, it uses one bowl, one pot, and a 9x13-- the mess is minimal! Enjoy!
Ingredients
2 1/4 cup flour (sifted)
2 cups sugar
1 can crushed pineapple (add juice too)
2 eggs
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
Mix all the above ingredients and pour into a 9x13 greased pan. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
Topping
1 cup white sugar
1 stick butter
1 cup sour cream
Simmer ingredients for 10 minutes and pour on hot cake.
