Spotlight on Maryland featured Casey Cares Founder Casey Baynes who joined the program to talk about their upcoming gala. It takes place on September 17 at the Baltimore Zoo and has been coined their "Wild About" Casey Cares Gala. It is the foundation's twenty-first such event.

Their mission is to help keep families' spirits high by arranging programming - whether it's a simple movie night and a fresh pair of pajamas or attending a major sporting event. Casey Cares makes life a lot better by adding a personal touch throughout the year and making lasting memories for families.
For families whose faith, relationships and pocketbooks have been stretched to their breaking points, these programs with a special touch may be the only break many have from hospital stays and doctors' visits. For some, it will be one of the last events they will attend with all members of their family present. While these children cannot be cured, Casey Cares can create little moments and lasting memories.
