The victim of a fatal shooting in Western North Carolina has now been identified. Rutherford County deputies responded to a shooting around 1:45 Thursday morning on Main Street in the Henrietta Community
Upon arrival, deputies found 39-year-old Daniel Acy dead at the scene. Authorities say, 38 year old Steven Hodge has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
Hodge is being held without bond in Rutherford County. Investigators are continuing to work to determine a motive, as the investigation remains ongoing.
