The song "Magic Carpet Ride" by Steppenwolf comes to mind after two men were arrested for selling psychedelic mushroom edibles in Western North Carolina. The Madison County Sheriff's Office says, an investigation was launched after complaints from community members.
Police Officers from Mars Hill and Marshall, along with state agents from the NCSBI all assisted in the investigation. Two men have been arrested in connection to the investigation thus far. They include 54 year old, Aaron Gosnell and 39 year old, Mohammed Ahmed Al Raayani.
They both are charged with selling a controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and other crimes. Officials say, additional charges are pending after a stolen gun was found in the investigation. More arrests could follow as the investigation continues.
